My birthday cake is gone, and so it is officially the new year.
​
I always think of January as a free trial month because, in the past, I always had family visiting after the New Year. Add to that my birthday on the 22nd, and it just felt like I was always destined to start the new year on February 1st.
​
This year, my mom visited in mid-January, and while I've worked around her visit, it's now back to my usual day-to-day. Of course, this morning my kiddo ended up with a two-hour delay. It's like the universe heard the whisper of normalcy and said hold my beer.
​
Despite the start-and-stops, I'm here and READY to get this year moving. I've got a lot of new services and last week I introduced a collaboration called Salty + Saucy. If you missed last week's email with the unveiling, it's a bunch of new services with a copywriter that I adore named Judi Harrington. We are pumped to give all service providers everything they need to succeed.

💻 Tech Talk 🗣️ Do you know about Boomerang? ​ Picture it: you had a lovely Discovery Call with a lead and send her a thank you email with the next steps to working with you. ​ Then...crickets. ​ Hopefully, you have a process in place to check in with leads that don't hire right away. Boomerang is part of my process. ​ With a few clicks, the email that I sent to the lead with the next steps can be returned to my inbox after however many days/weeks I choose. I can even put a little post-it on there to remind me of action steps I need to take when the email is returned. ​ Check it out and let me know if you want to know all the Boomerang tricks up my sleeve!
