Chill Out, Lowe's...

Hey Reader!

I know, I know. I can’t believe we're already talking about holiday marketing. While we’re still a bit away from the holiday rush (despite Lowe’s aisle of Christmas trees), if you’re trying to sell anything these next 90 days, October is the perfect time to start laying the groundwork to make the most out of the upcoming sales season.

And if you’re selling something, here’s one thing you absolutely need on point: your landing pages.

A well-crafted landing page isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s the first step in turning browsers into buyers. As you start planning for your year-end offers, sales, or services, here are a few key things your landing page should do:

  1. Highlight the Urgency: Don’t be afraid to mention time-limited offers or year-end specials. People are motivated by deadlines!
  2. Focus on Benefits: Be super clear about the transformation or value your service/product will bring. What’s in it for them?
  3. Clear Call to Action: No one should have to guess what to do next. Make your “Buy Now” or “Book a Call” button stand out and use action-oriented language.

As we wrap up the year, there’s still plenty of time to boost your business. Need help setting up landing pages that convert? Book a free Chemistry Call with me and let’s get your offers in front of the right people!

You’ve got this!

xo,
Liz

I have to apologize, truly. Amber at The Boutique Lawyer is running a Spring Contract Sale and everything in her template shop is 50% off. It closes tomorrow night (March 24). I'm an affiliate, so I get a small commission if you buy through my link, and I'm telling you about it with one day left. That's on me. But here's why it was on my mind and why you're getting an email on Monday when I (usually) send them on Wednesdays. I bought a contract template from Amber YEARS ago and while I have...

Hi, Reader!Last week I told you about the client whose email list had been quietly broken for three years. Opt-in forms pointing to the wrong list. A welcome sequence that had never triggered. Subscribers who downloaded her freebie and never heard from her again. I promised more this week. Here it is: The problem with most email marketing advice is that it assumes your system is working. It tells you how to write better subject lines, how to grow your list faster, how to improve your open...

Hi, Reader!A few years ago I had a client come to me who had been in business for three years. She had a lead magnet. She had a landing page. She even had a welcome sequence set up, or so she thought. When we got into the back end of her email platform together, we found opt-in forms pointing to the wrong list. A welcome sequence that had never actually triggered. And subscribers sitting in limbo who had never received a single email after downloading her freebie. Three years of collecting...
